Another visit to my new favourite farm. It feels a bit like a stage set where, between my visits, stage hands move a few of the props for the next scene in the play...
Microdrive! Fantastic. The problem I'm finding at the moment is a distinct lack of CRT TVs. These new-fangled digital ones are really very poor, not only is there an awful lot of macro blocking on supposedly superior digital signals it's almost impossible to use a speccy now. I am very upset. I need some converter pluggy type thing so I can use my 128K...

There is an easy mod for the 48k Spectrum to turn the output to composite video - which should be fine. On the 128k you should be able to get an RGB cable (plenty on ebay)
Continuing the Christmas theme "The Year Christmas Never Came" I'm beginning to wonder if I need therapy...

She's remarkably good at finding every single Lego person she has and lining them all up. She also wants to take the picture, put it on the computer and then edit it too... I have a five year old who demands full creative control over the use of her Lego.
The basic scene ended up looking like the end of The Night Of The Living Dead, the zombie hunt part. I might have to use that idea... well, I would if I had some Lego zombies. For now though, Santa is having another bad day.
