Hales Bar Dam was a hydroelectric dam once located on the Tennessee River in Marion County, TN. The Chattanooga and Tennessee River Power Company began building the dam in 1905 and completed it in 1913, making Hales Bar one of the first major multipurpose dams and one of the first major dams to be built across a navigable channel in the United States. Closed 1968. Alleged to be haunted.

Prefer the other one, but this is still picture worthy. In fact we have a very similar print at work on the wall.
Cheers afb, me too. This view would be better if the symmetry were more perfect - close but not close enough. Bit of a London cliché view but might as well get it when I’m there.
