AAMOF I'm reading the book that the movie is based on, and it's pretty interesting/grim/horrific. Not a bad read, so far. Sounds like it could be very prophetic for the future... Scorched earth weather, enclaves of air conditioned idle rich that control everything, water rationed, etc, etc...
Still getting acquainted with the Oly Tough. This little guy is rapidly becoming my go to for close ups.
While at a multi-level outdoor shopping "mall" in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala several years ago, I looked over the exterior wall and saw this nightmare.

Was this a former railroad? I rode trails in WA that were created by the Rails to Trails Conservancy. They were great.

Communications? That's likely their power grid. I'm always horrified at the installations I've seen in the Caribbean. Like WOW!!! And there are places here that are nearly just as bad, believe it or not.
