Wood Street and job cuts gave it away?
In a previous life I used to deal with Compaq and they had quite an imposing building in Wood Street, before the merger with HP, that I visited. As you are a computer geek I assumed it must be HP you work for. Cool lobby as I recall. Would make for a good photo

This giant Quan Yin was opened to the public on Sunday, so I went yesterday afternoon after all the crowds had dissipated. She is over 18 metres tall and has an amazing energetic to her presence right on the coast, looking out over the gulf.
