hehehe, my wife considers it a present when I'm gone. I sometimes get the impression she calls my friends to ask them to invite me to go hiking for a weekend. :)

So you either misbehave or find her a 'special friend'. (big and handsome) and you will have plenty of time to go out.

So here is the follow up. Kind of more what I had wanted for the first. The lads looking in the canal with sad faces.

Anyway makes a bit of a photo story I suppose.
But yes they did get it back.

Nice, sharp shot, with a very sharp focus on the boys. The only thing I would have done is crop it a bit more to bring the detail of the boys out more and to get rid of the distracting buildings in the upper left hand corner.

Playing with my new 16 stop screw-on ND filter from Formatt-Hitech, which they kindly express posted out to me as I forgot to purchase earlier, so that I'd have it in time for a weeks holiday in Brisbane, which I leave for tomorrow morning. Woo-hoo, the warmth beckons! I already have a 16 stopper from them in a 100mm square format, but I only use that on my tilt-shift lens as it has a bulbous front to it.

This is a 4.5 minute exposure at f/11 and ISO 100 in pretty bright sunlight. I love that these things have no colour casts, so I don't have to mess around in post production hiding them or working in B&W only.

270 seconds, ISO 100, f/11, 24mm.
