Hi Alex, I use a stack and align method to reduce noise in images where possible. I use Starry Landscape Stacker to do this. It works well with simple horizons and if there are solid objects that protrude into the sky. It’s not so great with trees!

Thanks for posting this . I'll be out there in around 3 weeks and will have to remember to have sufficient presence of mind to walk around the back of the arch like you did . 4 years back , on my last trip , I only got the shot from the trail end . Hopefully this time it'll be somewhat less than 100F and my knees will be cooperative .

The camper van is a great way to go indeed but I hope it's not a big one. First problem is that everyone seems to want to drive on the wrong side of the road there and without doubt, a little extra road width or a touch of pavement on the shoulder would be much appreciated. It was white knuckled drive on A82 by Loch Lomond. I felt like some sort of crazed road warrior battling against the lorries for every inch of space.
I think we drive on the correct side of the road here! It's every body else that gets it wrongTrue.

Lol... Only because you arent used to it... I got a midsize camper through there in June... Easy peasy... Lol...
My pleasure. This is such an amazing place, I had no idea there were so many arches in one location. Are you planning on visiting Delicate Arch? that was pretty cool.
My personal favorite is the Double Arch. Arches NP is a fascinating and beautiful place. I would like to get back there someday as I didn't see as much as I would like when I was there before. If you have any more pictures you are willing to share with us here @malofx I would definitely be interested in seeing them.
@inkmich Double Arch was the coolest, and Delicate Arch was almost as cool, just because it really looks delicate, lol.
