Rather spectacular sunsets the past couple of days. Discourtesy of a forest fire near nearby Sparwood, BC.

Lancaster Bomber front end from WW2. This particular plane has completed 30 bombings. The ice cream depicts trips to Italy. The red depicts Belgium and the rest are for German raids I believe.

Edit: the pilot was an austrialian hence the kangaroo, the bagpipes are due to a Scottish lead engineer. Even in times of war, 1940s banter was decent!

🪂 LIVE THE SKY LIFE

Soaring above the Toronto skyline, AURA has the distinction of being Canada’s tallest residential tower and offers unprecedented convenience for any would-be urbanite.

PROJECT: AURA THE CONDO LOUNGE AT COLLEGE PARK
LOCATION: TORONTO, CANADA.

CANADA’S TALLEST RESIDENTIAL TOWER

Standing 80 stories high above the corner of Yonge and Gerrard, AURA is Canada's tallest residential condominium and the embodiment of innovation, sophistication, and remarkable design. The granite and glass-clad podium is home to 180,000 square feet of amenities, shopping, restaurants, and services, including Aura Fitness, a 42,000-square-foot fitness facility, retail giants like Marshalls and IKEA - with its first downtown location in Canada - and three restaurants serving up an array of delicious cuisine.

ARCHITECTURE
The semi-transparent metal and high-tempered brick 78-storey tower has approximately 100,000 m² (1.1 million sq.ft.) of residential space.
