I've lived in Oregon most of my life and I've never heard of this; what part of the state is it in?

It is off of hwy 34 between Corvallis and Newport. We go on group drives and we also stopped by Mary’s Peak on the way to Newport. Really amazing, but visibility was hampered due to the wildfires.
