When I am not sure about an image, I convert to B&W. In this case it looks much better than its rather bland color companion.

I do this as well. In the case of your photo, I like them both.
I grew up outside of Boston. Moved to the Mid-west. My Dad would take me to Fenway to the ball games. Many years later my spouse had an organizational social event at Fenway. To my surprise we got seated in the same section that my Dad would always choose.
