Stopped on the way home tonight to grab this. 18 second exposure. Added a little graduated filter to bump up the shadows at the bottom.

Comments always appreciated. (As usual, I am new to all this, learning as I go. Trial and error)

Santa came early this year... I got a (preowned) Canon 85mm f/1.2L today... the lens is ridiculous in every way... DOF, weight, size of front element, price... you name it! :D

I don't do people shots normally, but I liked this one. Taken yesterday at a local produce market, this is a stall-holder looking after a friends cockatiel.

Got back to the library and this time up to the third floor. It was all very cloak and dagger, the key to the third level is kept in a safe by the Royal Geographical Society who keep their collection up there!

I think I finally have the killer shot.

Killer, indeed. Wow, that's just insane!! (in a good way :))

I have to ask...what lens(es) are you using for those wide-angle shots?

Is it me or does there seem to be a lot of green fringing around the Canon logo?

I leave the exif info on all my shots, so you can check it whenever you want to in preview (tools, show inspector). I just have the kit lens that goes down to 18mm at this point.
