For the Next Thread Starter

Over the last few months some of the formatting in the first post of each month has been lost, so I would like to ask the next thread starter to please download and copy This Document to start the January 2013 Photo of the Day.

As a refresher, quote the first post of the previous month and copy/paste it into a new thread. Edit the date and remove the quote and /quote tags and it will maintain the proper format and working links. Just doing a copy/paste of the first post won't copy the links or text format. Only quoting the first post will show the tags needed for the text formats like bold and links.

If you have started the thread with no problems in the past, please ignore me..

PM me with any questions.

^^^ Great pic... The contrast between the snow that's lit and the snow in shadow... The way the fence disappears and reappears... The texture of the snow in the tree branches...

I spent my Christmas vacation at Disney World. So I'm going to subject to you Disney photos for a while. I hope you don't mind. :)

Yeah I have a bunch of them around here. I'm trying to get some shots of the red-breasted nuthatches as well. There is also a pileated woodpecker around here. Getting a useable shot of that will prove to be incredibly difficult.
(My bold)

I've only seen one of these out here in the Northwest and it was a truly awesome bird. Lots of Juncos, Nuthatches, Finches, Thrushes, Stellar's Jays and Chickadees. My feeder is very popular.

Nice pic.
