Guess it's hard to feel safe here. There's one more lock on the back, out of sight.
What you’re likely seeing is each lock serves a different group. One is the property owner, another might be the fire department, and others for electric, gas, water, etc. They gang the locks together because that’s way easier than everyone trying to share keys. I’ve been through many-a gate like this in the past, and I’m only looking for my company’s access lock on there.

After five or six failed attempts, I finally managed to successfully reverse process medium format b&w film. It was a tiring 8-bath process (not including rinses between each bath) that took nearly two hours, but I'm so happy with the result. Shot with a Rolleiflex T Model 2 on Fomapan 100.
