Thanks for the feedback - yeah would've liked to not have the boats in the way but I got lucky nevertheless. When I arrived it was beyond crowded, and the spot I set up turned out to be a bit to sharp of an angle as the fireworks were partially blocked by a building - so I had to run for a minute and set up the tripod behind some kind kids who let me through!

Taken with a Kodak V530 P&S (old 5MP from 2005) while on a moving train heading to my Parent's house for Thanksgiving. Just got around to transferring the photo to my computer, and cropped it to 1920x1680. The camera is showing it's age though, I'm currently considering upgrading to a Sony HX7V.
