Finally got around to doing a diptych of these two shots of a Red Leaf Wild Rose. As you can see the leaves are closer to green than red leading me to believe that whoever named it was colorblind.

You were so fortunate to have your friend for 21 years. I have had so many cats and dogs over the past 50 years, it is so hard when you have say good bye to them, every one was loved and loved us. There are always special pets that mean so much more, it makes even harder.
