While walking in Hines Park, I had an unsettling encounter with a deer that made me consider retreating quickly. For a moment, its body language suggested it might charge at me - a first in my experience there. Fortunately, it turned out to be just a bluff, and the deer simply returned to browsing on the nearby shrubs.
Spotted the first Bumblebee of the year.
