That is very true. I guess what I was trying to say was that I was lucky to have such ideal conditions.

It looked finally sort of spring this morning, so went to the beach. Surprised to find these lads active. See this as a tribute to Surfer Rob, but in North Sea coordinates and climate: T=11 C, wind about 10 m/s. About the water temp I don't want to think....

which lake is that? Tahoe by chance? It and the pic look awesome.![]()
Thanks, it's Crypt Lake. It is in Waterton National Park right on the US-Canadian border.
Well, I obviously know diddly-squat about what constitutes a fabulous photo!
Really, not one comment so far. I know that alone doesn't indicate a lack of appreciation but c'mon, with the way the compliments often fly hereabouts I can't quite ... ah well, never mind.
This is something that pays looking at. It has such power and depth.
Just brilliant Freebooter.

lol this one's for you appie57! It's spring break here in lorida and there is hardly a spot to sit on the beaches... plenty of room out in the water tho. Taken today at paradise beach, the water is a chilly 74 degrees F! Great shot by the way - plenty of color and contrast in your springtime as well!
Well, how did you know these are my favorite surf pictures![]()
