I agree with others on too much sky but I love the blues on the distant mountains.
i know.. the sun couldn't be saved.. -.- no filter.
how would i go about not having the sun blown out?
My point is that there isn't always a hi-tech solution to a photographic problem...![]()
I like this one more and more... there's always something about light playing through water drops that I love. It would make a great desktop image... anyway, good job on this.
Now this one is also really nice... love the exposure. But... in this case I actually would crop about a third to half of the sky for a couple of reasons: the sky is actually getting lighter, more featureless the higher up you go, so it doesn't add anything up there... and second, it would give the image approx. a third as sky, a third as mountains, and a third as water... a very good balance. It would also be a bit more panoramic, which would work really nicely in this photo, in my opinion.By popular demand... (due to obstacles at my shooting location an image combining both the city scape and the water were not possible, but here is one of the water between the trees from last evening's shoot)

I love this. Excellent exposure, very sharp. It makes me feel like I'm right there. I really prefer it to the fisheye version you posted earlier because it doesn't make all the trees look as if they're going to fall into the center like that one did. This is a truly beautiful photo!! Pentax's certainly produce great images... in the right hands.![]()
