Trying out my new Leica 25mm this morning. I have heard that it can have CA issues, but I can't see any in this strongly backlit (sun rising in the background) high contrast image. I quite like the the bokeh rendering too.

Loup of Fintry looked stunning in its winter bloom this week. A stark contrast to how it was in the summer! Still almost went on my proverbial in the mud mind you!

Yes, well it is a political game right.... she wants us to go on holiday this year at a stupid cost so she can't suggest I am spending too much can she or I will curb spending on that...

Yep, I'm also waiting on those Magnolia blossoms this year.
I have 6 Little Gem Magnolias in the backyard around the pool and jsut lvoe it when they are all in bloom at the same time.
Went out for some last winter pix , ended up taking the 'road less traveled' . Thought the plow guys would have gone through here by this morning.
It's 23 degrees here. How about some killer beach pictures! I'm about to 'shoot six holes in my freezer' here!

Nope, sorry, doesn't work. They still don't match.
I actually rarely convert her portraits to B&W because they are very close to the same tones, so appear the same color usually in BW. And I never flip a photo of her because she wouldn't look right. Interestingly, though, when she draws herself, her eyes are backwards, because she is used to seeing a mirror image of herself.

They have self seeded all throughout, and seem to have a preference for coming up where the old graves have given way and have now got some serious depressions in the ground.
