Test shot using a Praktica B200 and Kentmere Pan 400 film. A local camera shop had a whole crate of these old Praktica camera bodies that they were giving away before moving to a new location, and I couldn't resist bringing one that seemed in good condition home, even though I don't have a good purpose for it. Lenses that use the Prakticar PB-mount are extremely hard to come by here, even though PB-mount to other mount adapters are seemingly all over the place on local online marketplaces. The only lens that fell within my budget was a f/2.8 135mm prime, which oddly enough cost less than half of 50mm primes (which should be much more common). 135mm focal length is so hard to work with for casual snapshots, but nevertheless I went out to shoot a dozen frames, and in the end it looks like both the camera and lens work fine. Since other lenses are so hard to find here, I might just stick with this body and lens combo and make this a dedicated portraiture machine.
