More architectural whimsy: Blencow Hall, a distinctive house created from the ruins of two pele towers. And, yes, I know that everything is leaning in different directions... but this is what it's like... :p

Rough Draft of an assignment for my science and society class. CnC much appreciated. :D

I like the concept. From the science end it looks as if the image is a commentary on the frankensteining of disparate elements that can have unforeseen results; we create for the sake of creating without any thought of the consequences.

From the social side, it could comment on the difficult that an "apple" and "oranges" demographic can have in integrating. Sometimes the issues are forced with disastrous results. If you are leaning in this direction, I like the way the orange has some brown, damaged bits; the sacrifices of compromise. This could be extended into some bruising on the apple.

Technically, I'd eliminate the vertical shadow, especially on the left. Ideally, you could manipulate the lighting so that the shadows arc though the fruit to strengthen your emphasis.

I Dunno

I dunno. Somehow I think we're talkin' apples and oranges here... or is it just me ?
