Old Glory!

Taken last weekend, on the ferry from Plattsburgh NY to Burlington VT.
Very proud to fly it every day, but this is a perfect day to share this image! :)

(Yes, it's only 2 hours since my last post, but here it's after midnight!)

Longwood Gardens, again

I love this place. Would go each month just to see the various stages of gardens and trees. These are just one set of fountains in one of many gardens.

I went to the Tulip Festival during the week in Skagit Valley, Washington. I took Route 9 instead of I-5. Wicked scenic route. I'll be taking it from now on as I-5 needs some serious road work done.

I'm not crazy about this photo but it was really bright out so lighting was harsh but I still had fun ruining my photos :D

My picture for my 365 project today is too boring. I didn't post yesterday's, though, so here it is.

I was with a group running/walking some trails at Stone Mountain and saw this guy on the lake. I wish I had my Canon with me for this shot, but I think my iPhone did pretty well.

3D duck.

Some folks have thought this looks like a 3D shot.

Snapped it after taking some snaps of this duck enjoying an early morning cruise around a small pond.

Thanks, and the same to you!

Nice sunset colors!
Thank you!

Nice job gameface I like this one a lot.

6 image panorama taken just outside of Green River, UT. I wish I could've been passing through around sunset but unfortunately my drive brought me here right at midday; the scenery was beautiful nonetheless.

Always love your photo's Jason was that taken with the 50 mm sigma??

Your photo's always have a certain look? what post do you do to them?

Thanks, yep thats the Sig. It's doing really well for me. The IQ isn't as great as with a Canon lens but it focuses pretty fast. As my lens collection grows I am starting to feel the constraint of the low end camera body I have. I wish the XS/1000D had better ISO performance.. Almost ready to upgrade to probably a 50/60/xxD. As far as the post I really don't do much just adjust my contrast and blacks. Curves, etc. I'm jealous of you guys that have the nifty high iso performing bodies. :D

I'll upgrade when my shutter breaks! ahah kidding. Hopefully this summer. I just scored 2 more weddings so hopefully I can nab me one soon. Thanks for the compliment. In any case I really like the Sigma, so far so good.

The Easter parades across Spain are simply incredible not just because of the outfits which were later infamously taken by a certain organisation. A centuries old tradition that has nothing to do with the connotations for the locals.

At the cabin, last summer, it looks like a pillar of sun is shining right on the cabin.

I am not amazed at all by this shot, but the subject in it. It is just a brochure, inside it is a flash drive that I couldn't really take a decent shot of. It's a 2GB Rolls Royce branded drive with the label "21st Century Legends" on it. Made out of brushed stainless steel, looks incredible!
