Recently got commissioned to shoot a cave...bit dark underground as it turns out. 2, 4 and 8 second exposures combined.
Now that's just a little weevil
Since we're on an insect theme, I can't believe how close these flies allowed me to get; they were so engrossed in their meal...

Great shot, lovely atmosphere to this, I like the light and it screams history. Well done.
I took this photo a few years ago, but it is relevant on this day. Memorial Day.
Not on this particular trip but earlier in the year when the lake was still frozen, they were all over. Fantastic sight to watch them hunting! Near our home, there's a smaller lake where they like to hunt and we occasionally see them hanging out in the cottonwoods near the shore.
