Man shooting by hand at 8:30 in the evening is tricky. I shot this plum shrub so many times before I got one where the flower was even close to being in focus xD Anywho, same setup as the sunset pano, same evening.

You did very well, considering the circumstances😊

I also like that the color of the plum goes in the same nuance as the sky. And the blurry background makes it very beautiful!

Thanks! Yeah I had to calm down and remember my rifle breathing. Always fascinating how much similarity there is between shuttering and triggering. That said, I may try again this evening with the tripod and 50mm so there's less jittery me causing issues xD

Everything does not have to be in pin sharp focus. An old trick I used in film days (and still do) was to breathe out slowly while releasing the shutter; don't hold your breath.

Someday, when I'm mature enough, I'll get another Ducati. I love motorcycles.

I always admired Ducati's, since I don't have a garage, only a carport, I opted for something tamer. The VFR suits me just fine, unfortunately they stopped making the VFR in 2014.

It's not that I am not mature enough at 78, my body is not limber enough.
