I am told that the Starbucks in RPV has one of the most stunning views of the Pacific coast. I gotta go there and sip a Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso one day…. during the golden hour.
 
It really does. The whole peninsula is fab.
My former associate I worked for in communications design lived in Rancho Palos Verdes, there was one area that was sliding into the ocean and it caused havoc with RPV Drive, a section of the road shifted. Every time I would visit him, the double yellow lines would be further offset. It was so bad that the utilities had be moved above ground.

That's also the case with Portuguese Bend. Land movement means the roads are perpetually always under construction.
