First attempt at photographing food ...

My lunch being prepared, yesterday. I think it could have done with greater DOF ... would welcome your C&C.

Same watch as yesterday, different lens.

Please forgive the file size, but I've always felt that a macro is wasted on low resolution. So it's been reduced 50% only.:)

My church has various carvings on each of the fireplaces. This is one of them.

His First Camera

I was taking shots at the school at which I work for the yearbook and this one surprised me. I really like his expression. He ended up following me around the classroom with his camera, also snapping photos.

I love it. I had one of those toy cameras as a kid. Brings back memories. :D

I agree with the other comments on this one ... beautiful.

Went out yesterday with my new tripod to get some sunset pictures from Wandsworth Bridge. Just as I was packing away, this huge flock of birds started swooping around the bridge. We typically get that in late August when the swallows start gathering before heading off for the Winter, but I've never seen it at this time of year before. More photos on my Flickr.

Doylem's shack, this morning. Can't recall seeing this much snow in November before...

This was not the image of Doylem's "shack" I had in my head :p
Where are the sheep? ;) :p

I'm really enjoying your coverage of the cyclocross, it's different from the traditional journalism I see, you've added a unique artistic perspective.
It's almost as though you've conveyed the event in clockwork, almost perfect motion.
I really like the converging of directional planes here - you've framed it well.
