I got out at sunrise with a frosty morning to take pictures. I got quite a few that looked good. Here's the entire set from today. I encourage comments and critiques of it to help make me better. Flickr set

This one was the clear winner of the day's session (included in the set linked above).

Here's something even older, probably. A beautiful old sailing ship in Sydney Harbour.

Canon EOS 1000D/0.002 sec (1/640)/f10.0/42mm/ISO 200

Beautiful picture of an old sailing ship, here's one of a modern one taken off the Italian Amalfi coast, I prefer the older vessel for beauty, but maybe the modern one for comfort:

This turned out nice. I like the balance between the complementary colors red and green.

Quick shot of my backyard and the sunset

This would be something with the flare on the left removed. Maybe a vertical crop using just the right side of the image. Nice colors over there.

Another example of well thought out framing.

Nice photos from all.

Red Poll

Red Poll at a niger feeder in the backyard last winter at -20C. Dale... thanks for the comment. That was a beautiful summer day. Feels like the deep dark past now.
