Yes, there is tons of good stuff in Toronto Zoo. I can't really recommend it to visitors though, because it's so huge, you have to explore it in multiple takes. I had an annual pass and used it about a dozen times at one point. We have a pair of pandas over right now, but I have yet to check them out. Might do it soon, it's a wonderfully serene place in the winter.

I wouldn't not recommend it because it's big. I visited about 5 years ago while on honeymoon, managed to get round a fair bit of the Zoo in a day and it was a lovely day out. If you like zoos and walking it's great. Sadly I think they were in the middle of redeveloping at the time so didn't see any snow leopards.
I guess what I meant to say, it's so big, you will not be able to fully appreciate it in a single visit. Also, because it's so big, they are always redeveloping one part or another. Snow leopard used to be right beside the Japanese macaques, though I'm not sure if it's there now with all the changes they have had since last time I visited.

Natural light. I just stand around, on a day like this, when there's a 'part-cloudy' sky, and wait for something to be lit and something else to fall into shadow...
After the sun went down, I switched over to long exposures. The Newport Beach sunset series continues...

And here is one more from the zoo. This pretty much sums up how I feel this morning. Gotta preserve energy because tomorrow the local ski season is opening up at Blue Mountains. It's just a bunny hill compared to the Rockies or the Alps, but I'll take what I can.

First time posting
Hi all, first time posting in this thread. Hopefully I don't get booed out of the building with my pics. I took this shot when my wife and I were on our honeymoon in Italy in September. We were on a short boat cruise along Cinque Terre and on the way back to shore I saw a couple moving in for a kiss.
You guys have posted some really awesome shots. Any feedback you have would be appreciated!

I probably would have cropped a bit more off the camera right side but other than that. it's a really nice pic. One of those things that appeal to me on the card rack at Hallmark. Nice colors. The tone fade from right to left is a nice touch. Thank Nature for that. In my experience, most of photography is made up of waiting for Nature to give us something to shoot.
