There were lots of kids around, but there was a quiet moment every so often.

I'm so glad that I clicked through and viewed this larger! Marvins looks like an amazing place to waste away the day! There's great intensity and vibrancy to the colours here, but they are not overcooked in the slightest! Very nicely done, Greg!

I'll second that! A very cool shot and so much better when viewed at a much larger size. Too bad we can't see images like this in a much larger size displayed within the forum.
I love the backlighting on this one. The use of negative space is appealing as well.

Thanks very much spitfirejd. The terns, light and the extraordinary colour of the water and ice all came together at just the right point in time.

Superb timing!

Great images! clicked in there and image 6 of 8 is a marvellous riot of colour!
[doublepost=1511515169][/doublepost]Walking past our local church last night and they had the lighting installation guys in so I took a sneaky peek inside.

Thanks! I really wanted to show off the colors from this place without going too far, and I'm glad you liked it. Nice flowers, too!

I didn't mention it before, but that's me on the pinball machine. I figured I'd be the easiest to cooperate with for the shot.

Superb timing!

Spoilers! :) I'll share number 6 today, then.

I wish I had a fisheye lens to get more. There was so much stuff hanging from the ceiling. There was a track with dozens of airplanes hanging from it, and it would periodically turn on and move them around the shop. You can see a small section of it here.

A Bearded Dragon I encountered yesterday when going for a walk around the local estuary for some landscape photography.

This is a jpeg, straight out of camera, with no edits applied. Something I've never done before with my Canon 6D, but was suggested by an acquaintance on a bird photography forum. He never edits any of his images, they are all SOOC jpeg's, and all are drop dead gorgeous! And he shoots with a Canon!

The amount of detail in the skin is really nice. Still, I'd take RAW+JPEG because I'd want the RAW, too. Only having the JPEG is throwing away too much information.
