my bad. Don’t know why I thought you are from the UK.Taken yesterday, at Aldinga, South Australia. I was surprised that there was still water here, it won't be there for long and those hills will be brown and yellow soon!

When I had a NEX-6 I used a Takumar 1.8 for 50mm range, but my favourite 'normal' prime was always the Sigma 30mm 2.8

It does doesn’t it. Shame about higher ISO but in good light it’s a belter.
The same seasonal wetland as yesterday, just twenty minutes later and in a different position after the sky opened up to offer some gaps between the clouds.

Did you have a play with the Dehaze slider in Lightroom to see if it made it any better?
I actually like it as is, as it adds to the sense of distance going off into the background.
