I have decided I'm going to light up my LEGO Creative Expert sets and I just finished the LEGO Detective Office building.

I plan on taking better pictures and having my own LEGO City when I am totally finished.
Are the lights part of the set or something extra you added? How do you run the wiring?

I bought a lighting kit from https://www.lightailing.com/ for the Detective Office. One thing about ordering from them is their English isn't so hot and the kits take a slow boat from China (Meaning it takes a while) to get the lights. I have light kits for the Assembly Square and Parisian Restaurant, but I am thinking of doing my own lighting after those. I should have a good handle on how to go about doing the wiring and it should save me a little money. It's been interesting just trying to read the instructions for while the instructions are in English, it's a head scratcher in what they mean.
