Wild Rose And Wind Belt
Back to my original 3.2MP Olympus for this November shot taken in Northern Montana back in 2004. Some cropping but almost exactly as it came from the camera.

Tanagra (not really)
the wide angle made that one reed on the right like 10 feet tall in the photo, when in reality it's probably only two feet.
Yeah, it's not very tall, but I got down low for some foreground interest. I was actually impressed by the lack of fisheye in the shot, and I suspect the iPhone probably mitigates some of that when it presents the final jpeg. Also of note, the small white dot in the center of the sky is a half moon. The iPhone at least knew that wasn't an artifact and left it in there. :)

Another moon shot. Waxing gibbous moon in a clear spell between rain showers.

Let me know when you get fed-up with the moon (from me at least).

Nice shot, back when I was in college, my brother worked at a company that had a Questar mirror telescope with an effect focal length of 1800 mm. I kluged together and adapter mounted on a tripod and manage to get some decent full frame shots of the moon. Questar recommended the Linhof tripod as the only one sturdy enough, a little more than my budget could take.

I’ve been in this thread a few weeks now, and I’m just an amateur photographer that when I see something, I try to take advantage of the lighting, angle and uniqueness of the photo. That said, there’s a lot of talent in this thread, [far beyond my reach], but if I had to say who I think has some of the most unique photos that stand out to me personally, would be Molly and ClixPix. And then Stillcrazymans nature shots are always incredible to look at.

Press on!
