Yes the blur was added in post. I agree that the blur in the corners is too strong. I should fix that.

Maybe crop some of the top and bottom and next time try to use the rule of thirds and place the bird in the left third of the photo.

Haven't posted on this thread before... My subject may be slightly out of focus due to resting on a buoy, but for a point-and-shoot on a 110 degree day on the colorado river with only beer to hydrate with... Didn't think it was too bad. Critiques welcome!

There were about 30 seagulls in the area and this one refused to share it's lunch. I watched it circle the parking lot and eat this entire piece of bread without landing, quite impressive actually.

I assumed you'd gone all conceptual by exhibiting an empty frame. It inspired me to swap my camera for a surfboard. I maybe should have waited. 😱
