Looks a bit cool. Still struggling with temps in the 80's (F) here and lows in the am of high 50's. Be nice to be able to get into a sweater sometime. Must be localized global warming. Why is everyone wearing gators when you seem to be walking on a path?

Is that peak hour traffic out your way Doylem? :)

Mine for today, taken last night at the same jetty I took a shot of about a month ago and asked for feedback on. It's amazing the difference a month can have on ones confidence with taking a picture. This one had mixed light from the sun, the shelters fluoro's, the street lighting behind me and the blue fluoro's in the benches. I'm still not 100% happy with this shot, I'd like to take it at a 45 degree angle to the shelter, so the roof tapers towards the camera. This probably won't allow me to keep the jetty in the picture, as the sun is now setting further to the left of frame till the 21st of December. Next time...

Yes, it's cool in England. Wet too. 2012 is breaking all records for rainfall: not much fun when you live in the wettest place in the country (all those lakes and hills...). People do seem to enjoy dressing up as walkers, even if they're only going for a stroll...

This is one of those popular walks, to a lake and a pub, along a 'made' path. So there's always plenty of people. I normally prefer a bit more solitude...

I enjoy playing with different light sources around sunset, and after, as the ambient light fades and the artificial lights take over. Digital cameras seem to capture the subtleties wonderfully well, and I enjoy the fact that getting the light sources in balance is more about being in the right place at the right time than a lot of PP. This looks like a good effort to me...

Sold off a pile of gear and picked up a Leica M9 ( Leica 'pre owned') and a 75/2.5 ( also ' gently used') . Went out yesterday to spend a day playing with it .Tried to retrace a trip I took a while back to the area around the Brooklyn/Manhattan bridges with the intent of comparing images between the M9 and my 5D2.

Three Bridges.....

I know it not a great picture but I wanted to post it anyways. I took this picture of Chris outside of a Walmart grand opening in Bellevue, WA. Chris told me I needed his permission to take his picture and then told me I needed to delete the picture. He them told me he was calling the police since I did not delete the picture. I walked away and left.

The same bridge again 2 weeks ago. This time the sky cleared too quickly and by the time I took this shot most of the small clouds had gone. :(

Generally if you want to shoot sky at night moon shouldn´t be there (New Moon). This night moon was bright and I was able to see 25% of it so I´m pretty impressed with result.
