What an earth is that?
I had a feeling someone would ask that! Nice, earthy autumn colors, eh? It's a section of a wooden Mexican statuette reflected in a small magnifying mirror. Subject and mirror were positioned on top of my dresser, which is next to a window, letting in the natural light. However, yesterday was dreary, cloudy and rainy, so I supplemented the natural window light with a couple of small LED flashlights to add a touch more light without overwhelming the subject and the look I wanted. Camera was the Sony A1 with my beloved 90mm macro lens.

I had a lot of fun with this, as when I moved around the image changed in the magnifying mirror, and the results, such as this one, were really surprising.

Wow, the northern lights is so beautiful. Do you live in Alaska?
I was born in the north of Sweden and sometimes we see this incredible lights, even with sounds.
Remember one time when I was five or six and the northern light started to sound.
I was so scared that I started to cry😂
Yes, I live near Fairbanks, Alaska (in the interior of Alaska, close to the Arctic Circle). According to the scientist at the University Of Alaska, the Northern Lights don't make sound, but sometimes it seems like they do because I can hear some noise I can't explain.
