Has anyone tried one of these apps?

It acts like a scanner. It is an awesome concept and if it actually worked, would be even more great. I just don't know if it works as advertised and for $13.99, I don't want to try. I wish there was a lite version or a version that would expire in a few days. You would probably need a magnifying glass in front of the camera though (or maybe not for the new iPhone if it indeed does have a better camera).
