Photo Slideshows on iPad Lockscreen?

Remember on the first iPad that in the lock screen there was a photo icon allowing a slideshow to start playing?

How can I accomplish this on the new iPad Pro?

Also, more importantly, does anyone know at which iOS iteration the lock screen slideshow feature was removed?
