Do most of you just use iphoto or do you prefer some other photo software?

Not much. A place to crop pictures if needed and just burn them onto a CD. That's all I used iphoto for. Nothing fancy

I use iPhoto to manage, organise, view and do minor edits.

That's all pretty much. I occasionally use GraphicConverter to do some 'better' edits.

You can crop and rotate in Preview...
