Photo Syncing in iTunes, Missing "Photos" option

I recently purchased an iPhone 7 and I am running macOS Sierra 10.12.1.

In iTunes (12.5.1.21) I want to sync my photos to my iPhone. When I click the "Sync Photos" check box, I am prompted to select from a drop down "Copy Photos from:". In this drop down, I usually select the "Photos" icon / name and thats it. But now, this option is missing (screenshot attached).

Any ideas how to get the Photos option to show in the drop down? Thanks for the help.
