Photo Widget On Home Screen - What Am I Doing Wrong?

Hi all.

I recently put the photos widget on my home screen. This was three days ago, and on the widget, I'm still getting the message 'Photos will appear here when they have finished processing'! Three days? Ok, I have a few photos - somewhere in the region of 8k, but is this normal? I've made sure 'show featured content' is enable in the app settings, but still no photos showing in the widget. Any idea guys?

I had the same bug last September, so i tried to give it time...

Today i just noticed it again, tried to repair it with no luck, and restore my ipad (factory restore) sadly the bug is still there.

after that i checked my apple devices to see if they have the same bug, all are affected.... and now i have to reinstall my apps on the ipad...sigh.
