Hi guys, updated to 10.10.3, haven't really paid attention to the battery, and most of the time I am plugged in. I migrated to photos about a week ago.

Here is a key, my library is on a NAS system, as it is 100gb and would just take up everything on my computer. So everything is great and migrated, didn't lose anything.

Today, I am at work, and notice the Photos Agent.app using significant amount of energy, even though photos is not running, as my library file is at home. My battery went from 12 hours to 3 hours estimated.

I am on 10.10.3 yosemite, Late 2013 rMBP 13".

How do I turn this off, or kill the process, or something???

How long have you had photos installed? IIRC the agent indexes your photos and stuff when you first import your library so it'll probably bugger off after a while depending on the size of your library

I agree with Luke. Just let it run until it's done. Then everything will be fine.

Thats the problem, it shouldn't have been able to do anything.

My library file is offsite. It cannot access.

For now it has disappeared, but not by my hand....
