Photos and iCloud questions.

So all my photos ae stored in iCloud.

I am using my M3 MBA in the photos app dragging and dropped ALOT of photos into a shared album I made.

These photos are downloading to my Mac. Will they remove themselves from my MacBook Air after awhile and return to just cloud only or is there something I need to do?

Photos aren't deleted automatically, so you will end up with the photos synced on both computers.

Well - that's not entirely true; local copies of photos WILL be deleted automatically. But it's based on internal criteria within the Photos app, you really can't influence it.

This article explains a bit more about it, but it's basically a "Black box" - just trust that it's working.
