Today, I set up my new iPhone 14 Pro Max and turned on the option to download the original photos. I have around 3,000 files in the Photos app. The progress was going alright at first: After around 2 hours, it was down to the last 2 originals.

Issue: Several more hours later, it’s still stuck at: „Downloading 2 originals.“ What should I do now?

Just carry on using your phone normally and check again tomorrow. It will continue to try to download those 2 originals unless you've paused the downloads in the Photos app. It helps to be plugged in too so overnight is a good option. Are those originals large video files?

Thanks for your answer. Yeah, I have it plugged in overnight. I don’t have very large video files in my library. But it would still be great if I could check which files these 2 remaining ones exactly are. Is there the possibility to do so?

Quick update: After over 12 hours (most of the time locked and on the charger), it's still stuck on the 2 remaining files. Can they be corrupted somehow? Is there a simple solution?
