Photos beta: Scanned Photos Problem

I discovered today that the thousands of images that I had scanned and added to iPhoto with corrected dates are appearing in Photos with the dates they were added to the iPhoto library.

This is maddening. Is there a simple solution to fix this?

Maddening is a good description of the new Photos app. Anyway, it appears that for reasons best know to Apple the app lists photos by the added date in some views and by the date of the photo (if you added it in iPhoto) in others. I have exactly the same problem, and until Apple fixes the app so that you and not they control the sort order in these various views I don't know that there's any work-around.

I had this too. Select the images you want. Then go to "Image" at top of screen. There is a drop down menu and then select "Adjust date and time".
