I come from 14 pro max and I think it’s very hard getting crispy pictures of moving objects. It can be to an example the kids playing, if there is a bit movement it’s blurred. I tried turning off 48MP and shoot with the default settings, HEIF MAX and ProRaw. It seems like it’s all the same on all the lenses. Video is good however.

I took it to a store where it’s good light conditions and the sales man took a pic of his hand moving quite slowly.

Should it be like this? Or do I need to shoot in a different way, like Live Photos or burst? I already sold my 14 PM so I can’t compare, but I don’t think I had this blur on that phone.

That's insanely blurry for a hand moving slowly. But I'm curious what the sales guy said about this. Was it actually an Apple store?

What was your shutter speed. It is responsible for freezing moving objects. The hand is more out of focus to me while the background is sharp. I do not see movement blur. With a large apertures, focus is very shallow.

Just saying that the focus was not on the hand, instead it was closer being on focus on the device case. Past the hand. Not motion blur, just out of focus
You're absolutely right. I'd say that taller orange bag has enjoyed focus more than anything else but how it hasn't locked positively on anything and still ended with a shot is quite odd.

Edit: Camera shake perhaps?

I use the touch screen to tell the camera what I want focused on. I have had good results. Camera shake can be a problem but the iPhone also helps there, even in longer exposers.
