I have noticed that the 'Photos' app is now showing the date that a pic was taken in 'day of year' format. This is when I am viewing individual pictures. I think this changed from my usual format after Mojave but I'm not certain. I have looked but cannot find a way to change the format back to my default. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have noticed this is happening too on my MBP. I would be keen to find a solution. I've been right through all my date/time preferences in System preferences to no avail.

This appears to be an Australian localisation fault - and it hasn't been fixed in 10.14.3. I wonder which version of MacOS will get this fixed?

I've been having this problem too. My workaround was switching the localisation from Australia to UK.
