I have a crazy idea, so bear with me, they could go Back to tap.right, if they go stemless, what the hell are you going to squeeze?..
and what's up with the strap? they don't think their own 'find my' works well enough?))

You get that U2 chip whether or not you want it.
1. Leaks have been extremely unreliable the last two years.wow! So innovative.
That strap will come in very handy.
i'll be one of the happiest people if they do. i refuse to get the pro's and now the 3's due to this idiotic squeeze tech.I have a crazy idea, so bear with me, they could go Back to tap.
Tap is my least favorite feature in my standard Airpods. The pro stem controls are much preferred.I have a crazy idea, so bear with me, they could go Back to tap.
I still think the AirPods Pro 2 will likely look like a cross between the Beats Fit Pro and the Sony XF-1000XM4.2. Not personally looking for much innovation in this space since the Airpod Pros are incredibly good.
Just in case you still haven't found what you're looking for?Or a U2 chip?
Oh, wait, I'll pass...
Yes! The pod is sitting perfectly in your ear and you have to squeeze the stem-disrupting the fitment, not to mention how much more effort is required to find buttons and squeeze with adequate pressure. Tapping just works.i'll be one of the happiest people if they do. i refuse to get the pro's and now the 3's due to this idiotic squeeze tech.
How does a gentle squeeze (I've never had to squeeze very hard on mine) dislodge the AirPods from your ear but tapping on it doesn't?Yes! You quickly find the spot on the bud that tapping only solidifies it's fitment-for me at least. Mine take the most gentle tap. While running/hiking this is so much easier than squeezing the buttons. I can tap without losing arm swing tempo. How does a gentle squeeze (I've never had to squeeze very hard on mine) dislodge the AirPods from your ear but tapping on it doesn't?
I find earbuds that need to be tapped are always awful and need to be tapped quite hard for it to be recognised!
Come on, you wouldn't buy a black and red color U2-themed pair of AirPods
the funny thing is — i've never even had the pro's in my ears — i have a good imagination, so i imagined exactly what you just described. i got myself the 'nothing one's' for my nfc needs, and i love them!Yes! because if you're running and you grab that stem — you're likely to break the "seal". i do all sorts of sport activities(running, biking, basketball) in my gen 2 airpods and haven't had them fall out once. How does a gentle squeeze (I've never had to squeeze very hard on mine) dislodge the AirPods from your ear but tapping on it doesn't?
