I don't have the GM installed myself, but from everything I've read, the answer seems to be no. Apple has stated they will add iCloud facetag syncing "in the future", but whether that means iOS 10.1 / macOS 12.1, or next year, is not known.

Ok, thanks. I seem to remember that they said it would be available with the official release, but I may be mistaken.

Indeed. This is the one feature I am actually excited about.

I recently stumbled across this too. It doesn't sync between iOS devices either. It seems like such an obvious oversight when (as far as I know) all other aspects of Photos syncs over iCloud. Totally bizarre and frustrating.

EDIT: Smart Albums don't sync between macOS and iOS either, do they?
