Photos for Mac with Onedrive

Anyone tell me how I use photos for mac with one drive? I store all my pictures in Onedrive but would like to view and edit them using photos but not import them.

Photos for Mac is designed to integrate with iCloud; I don't think it has any native support (at this time) for connecting with any other cloud storage solution.

I have my library stored on OneDrive which works ok
