Photos for OS X download stuck

I spent days uploading 4000+ items in Photos for OS X. When done, it then said "Downloading 127 items". This quick quickly went down to 64 items, and now it's been stuck like that for 3 days - I've tried restarting Mac, I've tried connecting with different wifi network, I've tried closing Photos and re-opening, I've tried leaving Mac on and awake for over 24 hours, same problem, stuck at "Downloading 64 items".

Any ideas?

I get the same. I'm guessing it's just a bug in the beta that'll be fixed up in future releases.

Yeah it's still a beta. I also noticed that the last 2 days specifically IPL has been very slow to update in general, they must be doing some work on the servers or something.
You should wait to import you whole library till the final version arrives. There are still bugs present with metadata like timestamp getting messed or GPS data getting lost when importing, at least on the icloud.com app.
