So a few months ago I had to get the GPU fixed for the known issue, and it's been fine since, but for most of this year (I had to word it that way 😛 ) gfx card status has been telling me I'm on the dedicated GPU and when I check it for details it tells me it's something to do with photos (com.apple.photos.ImageConversionService, PID: 425) even though I've re booted the whole machine since I last used photos. it's been like this for a few days too, it's currently a pretty hot time of year here and I don't need that extra heat, and certainly don't want the extra battery drain when I'm off mains power.

Any Ideas?
